Scottish rave-fave Hostage is always hard at work in clubs and at festivals.
When not in the studio creating fresh, tough bass and beats with devastating dancefloor accuracy, he’s out there on the decks, smashing up parties with his own unique style of rampant boisterousness.
Over the last few years his party-pilgrimage has taken him all over Europe, Asia and Australia bringing a heady mix of fresh music to the bass-hungry masses. A few highlights include playing Fabric, Rockness, Glastonbury, Fuse (Brussels) and Social Club (Paris).
2009 saw his rapid rise into the limelight through much increased BBC Radio 1 support including a live Radio 1 Essential Mix.
His tracks and remixes are now a firm fixture in many DJ’s sets and radio shows.
As a production powerhouse, Hostage uses his encyclopedic musical knowledge to create cutting edge genre-blurring productions for the mind and feet.
