The Swedish House Mafia is a group of three house DJs and producers: Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. Eric Prydz is a former member of the group. The Swedish House Mafia released their first official single “One” under the name Swedish House Mafia on Beatport on May 26 2010.

Not everyone likes the same music. If we did life would be boring wouldn’t it?
This week we’re bring you our Weekend Anthems mix in a house stylee. “We’re in the house, we’re in the motherf**kin’ house”. Some people will like this mix and other’s won’t. That’s what music is all about and that is also why we’re gonna’ try our best to give you another little mix tomorrow full of some hip-hop tracks just ’cause it’s a genre that we don’t usually talk much about.

As promised last week when we kicked this new feature off we’re back again with another little mix full of our top weekend anthems. It’s been a good week for our favourite songs entering the UK Chart’s. New entries into the top ten this week, include Swedish House Mafia/Pharrell, Flo Rida Featuring David Guetta and dubstep’s Magnetic Man Featuring Angela Hunte entering at positions 7, 5 and 10 respectively.

A lot has been said about Magnetic Man, the trio made up of dubstep’s leading lights Skream, Benga and Artwork. It was Artwork who penned the dubstep anthem “Red,” a tune so ahead of its time the genre didn’t yet have a name. He began to mentor two errant teenagers – Benga, who has released two albums and who co-wrote the club hit “Night,” and Skream, whose anthem “Midnight Request Line” took the genre to the nation before his remix of La Roux’s “In For The Kill” sent it worldwide.

J Majik & Wickaman should be someone who you already are familier with in the drum & bass world. Recently it seems they have crossed over to have a bash at some good old 140bpm, with a few other dubstep tunes forthcoming on their LP ‘Mosquito’. This time they are remixing their own collaboration with vocalist B.Y.O.B on the upcoming single on Loaded Records.
