Collectively are Hibernian fans and players showing an extreme mental block when it comes to winning football matches or more to the point winning a Scottish Cup? I’m not a sports psychologist but do notice a mental block, a nervous mindset in certain games we’re expected to win. When Hibernian are not playing well the stands exude a nervous atmosphere and tend to turn on the usual scapegoats in green and white for tension release, this nervous aptitude then seems to pass on to the players on the field and the end result is normally defeat or cup exit.
Watching the Rangers fans get stronger vocally today when they were up against the odds and playing shite made me think about mental strengths, did you like me still think they would nick it? Can we do anything on the terraces to change the mental strengths of the Hibernian players? Should we lift the atmosphere more when we’re struggling in games? Are we too critical and becoming aloof like our deluded neighbours, believe. What do our players want or expect from the terraces?

I’m not being critical of our fantastic supporters, like you all I want is my team to achieve in the game with all Hibernian fans right behind them. Message to Hibernian, fuck it, fuck everyone, go out and win that bastard cup this season. Apologies for my foul language I hate lying down to the Hearts. Still in love with Hibernian and always will be. All the best to Hibernian fans going up to Dingwall on Tuesday, you deserve a performance and a win.
