We love our cheesy tunes here at zero seven towers. Although when they stick in your head for a week or so does get a bit annoying.
If you’ve never heard of Dover then let us introduce you to them. Dover is a well known Spanish pop-rock band from Madrid that sings in English in most of their songs. Its current lineup is:
- Amparo Llanos, guitar and band leader
- Cristina Llanos, singer and guitar
- Jesús Antúnez, drums (I want his name!)
- Samuel Titos, bass guitar (But this is also another cool name!)
In early 2009, Dover signed up with Sony. Sony Music Entertainment Spain president Carlos López said the signing of Dover should not be a surprise. “Dover is one of Spain’s most important groups from the ’90s and in this decade”. “They have sold 125,000 albums in the last year alone, and have a lot to offer in the future. They are dedicated to music, and still rehearse every day”.
