As you can tell she’s a bit of a looker isn’t she? We prefer her to Chezza Cole at Zero Seven Towers but what about you? Although with a middle name like Marina’s she certainly wouldn’t be out of place in Govan.
Marina Lambrini Diamandis, better known by her stage name Marina and the Diamonds (yes, there are no diamonds, it’s just her!), is a Welsh singer-songwriter. She rose to fame after reaching number two on the BBC Sound of 2010 poll list, coming second to Ellie Goulding (who we also like here at zero seven). Signed to 679 Recordings, her debut full-length studio album, The Family Jewels, will be released 22 February 2010.
The video above is her track “Mowgli’s Road” which was released back in 2009, interesting video and she’s still able to keep her good looks. Although being a complete dafty too!
Hollywood is her latest track though and it’s very catchy. Instead of putting the original version up we will go for the stripped down ‘acoustic’ version of it.
